We are extremely excited to have November 9, 2017, approved for “Mississippi Epilepsy Awareness Day” statewide!  We ask that everyone wear purple on Thursday, November 9, 2017, and participate in raising awareness for Epilepsy!  Governor Phil Bryant has approved this proclamation and we are so excited to start educating and raising the awareness for the Mississippians living with seizures.  

 The Epilepsy Foundation of Mississippi will hold it’s Ms. Gulf Coast  Epilepsy Awareness Event, “Brighter Nights for Epilepsy Awareness” on Thursday evening, November 9, 2017.  This will be a community-wide and statewide event with an awareness walk!   Save the Date now to join us to Brighten the night for Epilepsy Awareness and SUDEP awareness.  There will be games, raffles, and community awareness to remember those lost to SUDEP and to honor the ones currently living with epilepsy for National Epilepsy Awareness Month.
