Alvin P. Flannes Summer Camp

June 5 – 9, 2012

The Alvin P. Flannes Summer Camp is a week long camp for Mississippi kids, ages 8-16, living with epilepsy.  The campers attend free of charge and enjoy a great camp experience under the supervision of the staff of the Epilepsy Foundation of Mississippi, trained counselors, and nurses who are on site 24/7.  The camp takes place at Camp Wesley Pines in Gallman, MS. 

To be eligible for the Alvin P. Flannes Summer Camp, a child must:

• Have a primary diagnosis of epilepsy
• Be ages 8 through 16
• Be able to feed, bathe, dress and toilet without assistance
• Work well in small groups
